Williamsport – Anna Jane Fitzgerald Cronin Little, age 91, died unexpectedly following surgery, 11:35 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 in IU Health Hospital, Lafayette. She was born in Chicago, IL March 30, 1923 daughter of the late John and Francis Chamberlain Fitzgerald. She first married William Cronin and he preceded her in death in 1982. She later married Ralph Little from Williamsport and he preceded her in death in 1994.

Anna was a graduate of the Catholic Schools system in Chicago. For many years she was an administrative assistant for Harold Heinold on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. She later served as a bookkeeper for Little Beverage Co. in Attica.

Anna was very business oriented and a private person, yet very caring. Out of her concern for others, she often distributed 'deer whistles'. She enjoyed meeting with friends at their 'office', in the Attica McDonald's, going out to eat and playing cards with family.

Surviving are two grandchildren: Sherry (Leon) Smith and Robert Willhite both of Crawfordsville. Five Great-Grandchildren and many Great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, her parents, two husbands, six sisters, one brother, daughter Judith Ann Willhite in 2009 and three great-grandchildren.

Her family will receive guest, 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at Family & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Alan Sparks officiating.
