New Richmond – Anna Marie Willhite Miller, age 54, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2012 in her home following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Crawfordsville, IN on September 10, 1958, daughter of the late Richard M. and Judith Cronin Willhite. She attended Coal Creek Central and North Montgomery High School. She first married Larry Frier, they were divorced. She married Roger Miller January 13, 1996 and he survives.

Anna worked for Enduron in Thorntown for many years. She and her husband also operated the Mellott Bar for several years. She spent her later years providing care for her grandchildren and other New Richmond area children needing care. She enjoyed family time, family vacations and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Annie had a big heart and enjoyed helping others.

Surviving along with her husband Roger are two daughters: Heather (Kyle) Robinson of West Point and Holly Frier of New Richmond. A sister Sherry (Leon) Smith of New Richmond and a brother: Robert Willhite of Crawfordsville. Five grandchildren: Jamison, Kiara, Jaden, Kyler and Kaden. Her ex-husband Larry Frier, several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceeding her in death were her parents, a brother Richard Willhite and niece Kristi Humphrey.

Her family will received guests, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2012 at Family & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2012 at the funeral home, with Joe Mims officiating Burial will follow in Willhite Cemetery near Wingate.
