Anthony Wayne 'Tony' Hedrick age 59 of rural Waynetown, passed away unexpectedly at 7:19 AM Saturday, September 2, 2023 in the ER of Franciscan Health Hospital Crawfordsville.  He was born in Crawfordsville, April 21, 1964 to Fred Hedrick and the late Malinda K. Rivers Hedrick.  He married Laura Fry in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church June 26, 1998 and she survives.

Tony was a 1982 graduate of North Montgomery High School.  He worked several years at R.R. Donnelley & Sons and had been a life-long farmer, raising grain and cattle.  He was a member of Church Alive in Crawfordsville.

Farming wasn't simply a job to him, it was a way of life.  He loved to visit with neighbors and friends, often on the tailgate of his pickup truck.  He even claimed ownership in a horse, but that didn't compare to his cherished IHC 806 and Farmall M tractors.  He loved music and barrel racing.

Surviving are: his father Fred Hedrick of Crawfordsville; wife Laura Fry Hedrick of rural Waynetown: two sons, TJ Hedrick of Baltimore, MD and Taylor (Abbi) Hedrick of Waynetown.  His sister; Diana Wilbert of Lake Holiday, mother-in-law Nancy Fry of Crawfordsville, brother-in-law Doug Fry of Crawfordsville and three grandchildren: Grayson, Hutson & Ryker Hedrick.  Nephews: Mike Morgan, Matt (Tasha) Morgan, Travis (Amber) Wilbert.  Also surviving are several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Malinda rivers Hedrick, father-in-law Jim Fry and brother-in-law Glenn Wilbert, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Phanuel Lutheran Cemetery (2750 E. Lutheran Church Rd.
