Carolyn Sue Austin Harvey, age 72, of Ft. Wayne, formerly of the Crawfordsville and Mellott communities died following a lengthy illness in Parkview Regional Hospital in Ft. Wayne, 1:20 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015. She was born in Crawfordsville on August 13, 1942 the daughter of Russell and Faye Cox Austin and they preceded her in death. She had formerly been married to Les Strawser and Cliff Harvey.

Carolyn was raised in the Mellott community and a graduate of Richland Township High School. Before suffering a stroke, she had been employed in maintenance at Ben Hur Life Insurance Co. in Crawfordsville.

Surviving are: Two sons: Tim (wife Rhonda) Strawser of London, KY and Mark (wife Michelle) Strawser.of Houma, LA , a daughter: Teresa Rushin of Fort Wayne, a brother: David Austin of Mellott, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Eugene Austin.
