Carolyn Rosella Stephens Greene, age 75 of Wingate, passed away at 9:32 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021 in IU Arnett Hospital, Lafayette following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Crawfordsville, July 29, 1946, daughter of the late William Roy and Mary Stella Pendleton Stephens.  She married David A. Greene in Wingate, May 7, 1966 and he preceded her in death January 5, 2014.

Carolyn was a 1964 graduate of Coal Creek Central High School.  She was a homemaker and 'stay at home mom'.  She enjoyed camping with her husband, their coy ponds and flowers until her health failed.

Surviving are two sons:  Stephen Dion Greene and Dustin Bradley Greene both of Wingate. Grandchildren; Faith (Matt) Hamilton, Hannah (Logan) Olin, Hope & Jonas Greene.  Great-grandchildren; Nash, Hallie & Holden and sister-in-law Bev Stephens of Wingate.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother David Stephens, sisters; Josephine Turner & Katherine Small.

Visitation hours are 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2021 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate, with funeral services, 11:00 AM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Duane Mycroft officiating.  Burial will follow in Dry Run Cemetery.  Visit us online at www.familyandfriendsfh.com to sign the guest book or share a condolence.
