Charles 'Chuck' Ray Bair, age 55 of Wingate, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, Indianapolis as the result of a vehicle fire.  He was born June 11, 1966 in Lafayette, son of Rachel Lafoe Bair Livingston and the late Raymond Bair.

Chuck was a 1984 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and was formerly employed by Ernie Fairfield Jr. Construction. He had taken training in auto body repair, as well as heating/cooling.  Chuck enjoyed his motorcycle and people.

Surviving along with his mother Rachel: a sister; Judi Joseph (Jason Wright) of Crawfordsville,  two granddaughters; Becca & Aaliyah French, a grandson Anthony Surber, daughter-in-law Stephanie Ryker, close friends James Dailey, Ronnie Williams, his dog Maria and several nieces/nephews also survive  He was preceded in death by his father, son Charles French, two sisters; Robin Young and Jayne Westbury, adopted brother Bob Chamness, his grandparents Bob & Clara Bair, Paul & Helen LaFoe.
