Mellott – Charles Ray 'Chuck' Brouhard, age 61 of Mellott, passed away unexpectedly in his home, Friday, December 28, 2018.  He had been in declining health.  He was born in Jasper County, January 1, 1957 son of the late Franklin and Alberta Trapp Brouhard.

Chuck attended Lafayette Jefferson High School and had served with the U.S. Army.  He was formerly employed at Industrial Plating, Lafayette and most recently as a self-employed mechanic.

Chuck enjoyed attending and participating in 'car shows'.  Most folks will remember Chuck and his 'Fat Rat Mobile DJ Service' for providing 'DJ' services at local car shows.

Survivors include: a daughter, Michelle Lankford or Brownsburg, son Josh Hoff of Florida, two grandsons and a granddaughter.  Also surviving are, his companion Carolyn Gregory of Mellott, three brothers; Dean Brouhard of Mellott, Dick (Sandy) Brouhard of Texas and Steve (Karen) Brouhard of Bradenton, FL.
