Obituary

Donna Sue Van Hook Jackson passed away Monday morning at her home in Stockwell. She was 80.
Born April 21, 1937 at Attica, she was the daughter of Clyde and Imogene Pell Van Hook.
She was retired from Alcoa in Lafayette following 15 years of employment as a packer.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles as part of the Ladies Auxiliaries. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and used to enjoy painting.
Surviving family members include her son John Jacob Jackson of Stockwell; sisters Gladys Haxton of California and Constance Chester of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Benny, Warren and William Van Hook; and sister Phyllis Jane Royer.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday February 9th at Family & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Pastor Chuck Tague officiating. Burial will follow at the New Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
