New Richmond – Gladys Ruth Reamer Goodin, age 71, passed away at 9:50 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018 in her home following a period of failing health.  'Ruth' was born in Crawfordsville, February 10, 1947 daughter of the late Carl A. and Iva Brown Reamer.  She married John C. Goodin Jr. February 2, 1968 in New Richmond and he survives.

'Ruth' was a graduate of Coal Creek Central High School.  She had been employed as a cook at North Montgomery High School and was previously employed in the research department at Weaver Popcorn.    She was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church. Before her health failed she enjoyed fishing, crocheting, gardening and raising flowers.

Surviving along with her husband John, are:  Three sons; John C. (Shannon) Goodin III of Lawrenceburg, KY, Max (Natasha) Goodin of New Richmond and Bob (Michaela) Goodin of Crawfordsville. A daughter Marian (Jake) Johnson of New Richmond.  19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons, brothers; Carl Reamer of Linden, Earl Heide of Linden, Frank Heide of Romney and James Heide of Darlington. Sisters; Nellie Robertson of Mulberry, Ethel Geildmier of Diesel, TX, Marian Branch of Blackstock, SC.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Harry Reamer and granddaughter Echo.
