Newtown – Gloria Jean Arrigo, age 63 of Newtown, passed away unexpectedly in her home, Tuesday evening, October 19, 2012.   She was born in Lake County June 16, 1957 daughter of the late Jewel and Catherine Abrams.  She married Pete Arrigo in Crown Point and he survives.

Gloria was a graduate of Bowen High School in south Chicago, was a homemaker and former member of First Baptist Church in Hammond.  She enjoyed roller skating, fishing and hunting with her husband.

Surviving with her husband Pete, are: two sons; Robert Arrigo and Pete Arrigo both of Newtown.  Three grandsons; Pete Arrigo, Dakota & Coby Staggs and a sister Teresa Abrams of Chicago.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Bobby.
