Heather Nicole Mattingly Miller age 41 of  rural New Richmond, passed away in her home at 7:15 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2025 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Eustis, FL May 26, 1983 daughter of the late Leroy Wayne Mattingly and Julia Ann Friend Mattingly who survives in Crawfordsville.  She married William 'Bill' Miller in Crawfordsville March 27, 2006 and he survives.

Heather attended schools in Lake Weir Florida.  She had lived in Waveland prior to moving to the New Richmond community.  She had most recently been employed by the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League and previously at Random House.

Heather enjoyed camping and 'bossing' the kids around.  She belonged to the Moose and Eagles Auxiliary in Crawfordsville.

Surviving along with her husband Bill are: her mother Julia Mattingly of Crawfordsville. Daughters; Britanee Mattingly (Lance Whorrall) and Kylie (Danny) Sanders both of Linden, a son Jordan Miller (Micaela Stieber) of New Richmond. Her bonus daughters; Courteney Miller of Indianapolis and Brittany Miller of TN.  A brother Brandon Mattingly of Crawfordsville and Lisa Hoch of Ocala, FL.  Two grandchildren; Miley Bridgham and Lance Whorrall.  She was preceded in death by her father.
