Helen Frances Stinson Franklin age 93, formerly of New Richmond, died in Pavilion Nursing Center in Lebanon, TN, Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Helen was born in Glasgow, KY on December 24, 1923 daughter of the late James and Bell Mills Stinson. She married Guy Turner Franklin and he preceded her in death August 8, 2009.

She had resided in New Richmond since 1949 and moved to Lebanon, TN in 2005. She was a homemaker and had been a member of the New Richmond Christian Church.

Surviving are: a son: Richard (Shirley) Franklin of Indianapolis, a daughter: Patricia Gross of Lebanon, TN. Eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Jimmy, three sisters and a son-in-law.

Helen's family will greet guests, 9:00 – 11 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 with funeral services following the visitation at 11 a.m. with Pastor Alan Sparks officiating, Monday, at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate.
