Jack Edward Gelzleichter age 84 of Crawfordsville, passed way at 5:25 PM Friday, April 24, 2026 in Franciscan Health Lafayette East Hospital. Jack was born in Indianapolis January 1, 1942 son of the late Daniel and Josephine Bigelow Gelzleichter. He married Kathy Fulwider in New Market, September 4, 1993 and she survives.

Until his health failed, Jack was an active member of Rock Point Church and served as a counselor. He represented and was an advocate for neglected and abused children in foster care. Jack coached and played softball leading the Alpha-Omega Softball team to the state championship in 2000. He served on the board of the Montgomery County Softball Assn.

Jack was a soft-spoken, kind, good Christian man…he loved his animals, his dog Yogi and cat Socks.
