Newtown – James L. Schambers age 58 of Newtown, died unexpectedly at his home August 8, 2011. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN September 26, 1952 the son of the late Kenneth and Barbara Listenberger Schambers. He attended Fort Wayne schools.

He was married to Laura Schambers and she survives. James was employed by Mansion Mobil Homes in the RV industry, in Bryant Ohio. He retired after becoming disabled in 2002 and moved to Newtown from Kendallville.

Also surviving are four sons: Jamie Schambers, Kenny Schambers, and Tyler Schambers all of Kendallville and Logan Schambers of Veedersburg. A daughter Alexis Schambers of Veedersburg. A brother Rick Schambers of Butler and sister Cindy Schambers of Ft. Wayne also survive.

Private family services will be held. Family and Friends Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
