Attica – Janice Lee Buller Cool age 82 of Attica, died unexpectedly at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2013 in St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. She was born in Muncie, March 27, 1931 daughter of the late Lea E. and Delma (Reynard) Buller. She married Ted E. Cool, November 17, 1951 in Eaton, IN and he preceded her in death in September 1997.
Janice graduated from Muncie Central High School with the class of 1949. She was employed nearly 40 years with Ball State University, retiring in 1995, as head secretary in the math department. She attended the United Methodist Church, belonged to Eagles Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Women of the Moose all of Attica and a 50-year plus member of Order of Eastern Star, Purity Chapter #126.
Janice was a die-hard Indiana University and St. Louis Cardinal fan. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with her great-grandchildren and working outside until her health declined. Janice's friends will miss her easy laugh and infectious smile.
Surviving are: a daughter, Lee Ann (Richard 'Rick') Morgan of Attica. A sister, Jean (Robert) Marsh of Anderson, IN. A step-granddaughter, Seneca (Rhett) Lynaugh of Carmel and three great-grandchildren, Savannah, twins Max and Maeve. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sara Cooper and brother James Shreve.
Her family will receive guests 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Family & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Graveside services, 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013 at Union Cemetery, Eaton, IN with family members conducting the service.
