Jessie was a farm wife, spending many years working hard on the farm in Tippecanoe County. She then worked as a security guard at Tate & Lyle for 17 years.

She loved her church, West Point United Methodist Church and attended it since 1952. She taught an adult Sunday School Class, held several positions on the administrative council, was president of UMW, also chair-person of the Mary Martha Circle. She attended numerous Bible study groups throughout her life. She was an avid reader until Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma took her eyesight away the past two years.

She is survived by her daughter Kathleen (Allan) Chase, with whom she made her home for 22 years before residing at Rosewalk. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially grandchildren: Justin (Errin) Chase of Charlotte, NC and Nicole (Nick) Dellen of Noblesville. Her great-grandsons Max & Bradley Dellen gave her much joy and always made her smile. Also surviving is a sister; Reta Kay Bielik of Rosebud, TX, sister's-in-law Carolyn Rosenbarger of Brookston and Kaye Rosenbarger of Fowler. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers; Maurice, Everett, Ava and William Rosenbarger, five sisters; Louise (Hudson) Nichols, Elizabeth Nichols, Olene (Richard) Mann, Maxine (Lowell) Mitchell, Loretta (Rex) Bowman.
