Jessie Jane Rolen Graves age 90, a long-time New Richmond resident, passed away, 2:45 AM Thursday, June 15, 2023 In Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville.  Jesse was born in Sevier County, TN on June 12, 1933 daughter of the late Bill and Zola Breeden Rolen.  Jessie married Donal Graves December 8, 1953 and he preceded her in death November 6, 2018.

Jessie attended school in Roane County, TN.  She was a homemaker and lived in New Richmond since 1965 until moving to Wellbrooke.  She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed sewing and puzzles.  She loved time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are: a son; Darvie (Carol) Graves of New Richmond, two grandchildren; Sarah Graves of Brownsburg and David (Cyndi) Graves of New Richmond.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donal, son Hoy, brother Hubert and sisters Charlotte and Barbara.

Visitation hours are 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 with funeral services following at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Rick Fay officiating at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate.  Burial will follow in New Richmond Cemetery.
