Veedersburg – Kay Floyd Kinderman, age 56, of rural Veedersburg, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Orlando Regional Medical Center as a result of injuries she received while vacationing in Florida. She was born in Somerset KY, September 18, 1960 daughter of Jack Floyd and Alice Morris Spezia, they both survive. She married Fred Kinderman in Mellott September 22, 1978 and he survives.
Kay was a graduate of Fountain Central High School and retired after 35 years in retail management for Elder Beerman in both Danville, IL and Terre Haute, IN. She enjoyed boating on Lake Monroe, traveling, gardening and her animals. Her great joy was her family and friends, especially her granddaughters. Those close to her will remember her for her leadership, strength and passion for life. Her family and friends knew they could always count on her for great advice.
Kay is survived by her husband Fred; a daughter, Jessica & Sascha Allendes of Austin, TX; a son, Jordan Kinderman of Kingman; her father, Jack & Debbie Floyd of Eubank, KY and mother, Alice & Duane Spezia of Williamsport; a sister Sharon Floyd & David Breda of San Antonio, TX; a half–sister Jaclyn & Josh Swain of Veedersburg; two granddaughters, Mila and Martina Allendes and a niece Allison Breda.
A 'Celebration of Life' in honor of Kay Kinderman will be held, 4:00 – 6:30PM Tuesday, April 25, 2017 with a memorial service following at 6:30 conducted by Pastor Zack Bowling, at Stone Creek Lodge, 2865 South State Road 47, Crawfordsville, IN. The family asks in lieu of flowers please make a donation in Kay's memory to Hoosier Hooves and Hound, Veedersburg, IN.
