Judith Ann 'Judy' Friend Fulwider age 76 of Crawfordsville, passed away at 8:26 AM Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Bickford of Crawfordsville.  She was born in Crawfordsville, August 1, 1945 daughter of the late Dale and Emma Jean Chrisman Friend.  She married Richard 'Dick' Fulwider March 22, 1964 in Liberty Chapel Church and he preceded her in death September 14, 2018.

Judy was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School.  She and Dick lived in Wingate for several years before moving to Crawfordsville.  She was employed as a production worker for Fleetwood for 20 years.  She had been an active member of New Hope Christian Church until her health failed.  Judy and her husband Dick had previously served as  Youth Leaders for many youths in the Wingate community.  In her younger years she was active in Liberty Chapel, 4-H and Sunshine.  Her grandchildren were a great joy in her life.

Surviving are: a daughter LeAnn Jo (Stanely) Wethington and a son; James  D. (Cheryl) Fulwider both of Crawfordsville.  Two sisters; Jo Friend of Lafayette and Jennifer Friend of Crawfordsville.  Six grandchildren: Kristi Richmond, Brad Wethington, Stephanie Russell, Stacey Hansell, Kyla Maxey and Kara Mullett.  Great-grandchildren: Hannah, Zach, Annalee, Hayleigh, Jayden, Ellie, Ryker, Sara and Rhett.  Great-great grandchildren Nash & Holden.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Joyce Dickerson and Patty Friend.

Visitation hours are 3:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2022, with funeral services 11:00 AM Monday, June 13, 2022 with Pastor Mike Fruits officiating, all held at New Hope Christian Church (2746 US 231 South, Crawfordsville).  Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Research Foundation.  Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate is assisting Judy's family.  Visit us at www.familyandfriendsfh.com to sign the guest book or share a memory.
