Judy K. Springer McClure age 79 of Crawfordsville, passed away in her home Monday, August 31, 2026. She was born in Crawfordsville, October 19, 1946 to the late Dale and Flossie Yaryan Springer. She was previously married to Ralph E. McClure with who she had children.

Judy was raised in Waynetown and a 1964 graduate of Waynetown High School. She had resided in Lafayette and most recently with her daughter in Illinois before moving to Crawfordsville a month ago. She was employed by Tippecanoe School Corporation as a custodian. Over the years she was promoted to Crew Supervisor and Head Custodian.

Judy loved driving her ’67 Volkswagen Beetle and until her health failed she enjoyed woodworking…but she continued bird watching, reading and jigsaw puzzles. She was a lady of few words, but when you broke through her wall, you found a wonderful person inside.

Surviving are her children: daughter Jennifer Wall of Mulberry, son William ‘Burrette’ (Stacie) McClure of rural Crawfordsville, daughter Sammi (Gary) Bryant of Elmwood, IL, son Ralph E. McClure III of San Antonio, TX, two brothers; Tim Springer of Waynetown and Jerry Springer of Glasgow, KY. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Donna Tuttle and great-grandson Jaxtyn.
