Julie Elizabeth
Jameson
Sep 29, 1971 — May 12, 2026
Julie Elizabeth Haan Jameson, age 54, of rural Lafayette (Jackson Township community) passed away quietly and unexpectedly in her home Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Born in Indianapolis, IN on September 29, 1971, to Jane Elizabeth (Deverall) Haan and the late William David Haan. Julie married the love of her life, Jeremy Jameson on the family farm June 3, 2006 and he survives.
Julie was a creative soul with artistic talents in everything from pottery to costume making and decorating. She loved to cook and could work her way around the kitchen in a variety of cuisines as well as old family recipes. Her support of the wrestling team with her famous breakfast casserole made her a legend!
Julie is best known by her friends and family for having the most infectious laugh in the room…she was light hearted, optimistic, hopeful and could talk to anyone at anytime about anything. She was honest and straightforward with staunch political views and seldom backed down to a hot debate.
Julie’s family and friends were her circle…she was full of compassion who fiercely loved and cared for her family and friends. Her feelings extended beyond her family to the homeless people downtown and everyone in between. She was very attentive to people and their needs.
Celebrating her life are: husband Jeremy Jameson; their three sons: Alex Jameson, Charlie Jameson & Morgan Jameson; her mother Jane Haan (husband Bob Lefevers); brother Mark Haan (wife Carrie); many nieces nephews aunts and uncles also survive as well as many people who loved her as a friend. Julie was preceded in death by her father, William Haan, in 2008.
Visitation hours are 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2026 with funeral services following at 8:00 PM with Pastor Tony Schabel officiating at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate.
