Kale G. Galloway, age 9 of rural Waynetown, heard his family's last prayers at 6:30 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 in Riley Hospital for Children and took flight to be with the lord. He has bravely battled cancer the past 7 years. Kale was born in Lafayette, September 30, 2007 the son of Douglas Alan and Jessica Nicole Mitton Galloway who survive.
Kale attended Sommer Elementary School and was active in North Montgomery Little League, Youth Football, and Sugar Creek Swim Club. This was Kale's first year in 4-H and his pigs and heifer will be shown at the county fair. Kale was diagnosed with cancer in 2010, at age 2 ½. Kale was a son, brother and all boy who didn't want to miss anything. He was very resilient, a fighter and seldom would complain about his circumstances. His greatest worry was for his family. The legacy this 'Little Superman' leaves behind, should serve as an example to us all. Kale faced adversity with a positive attitude, a smile and never wavering attitude. He virtually became a 'community child' as he courageously battled cancer.
