Obituary
Kenneth Brewer, age 68 of rural Crawfordsville, died 4:30 a.m. Sunday, December 25, 2016 in Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. He was born in Crawfordsville July 12, 1948 son of the late George W. and Ruby E. Blackaby Brewer.
Kenny was a graduate of Waveland High School in 1966 and Indiana State University. He began his teaching career at Waynetown High School and retired from North Montgomery High School. He was also engaged in farming.
Kenny was an active member of the Southside Church of Christ in Crawfordsville.
He is survived by seven brothers: Lawrence (wife Daphne) and Ivan (wife Carolyn) and Donald all of Crawfordsville. Marvin (wife Corky) of Ladoga, Maurice (wife Carolyn) of Midland, MI, Fred (wife Jo) of Waveland, Dale (wife Judy) of Danville, IN, IN and one sister, Joyce Bryant of West Lafayette. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Warren, Lowell 'Chick', Jerry and one sister Alma Stull.
In keeping with Kenny's wishes, a private family funeral service will be held at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate.
