Kenneth J. 'Ken' Brown age 42 of Hillsboro, died as the result of a single vehicle accident, Tuesday March 23 at 8:55 p.m. in Hillsboro. He was born in Oxnard California November 1, 1967 the son Elizabeth Zimmerman Brown and the late James L. (Pops) Brown. On March 20, 2008 he was married to Trina Elaine Stout in Attica, she survives. He was a graduate of Oxnard High School and California Community College and had lived in the area since 1993.

Ken had been employed 16 years for Fleetwood Travel Trailers in Crawfordsville and most recently he was working for HUD as a carpenter and in maintenance. Ken enjoyed camping, boating, 4-wheeling and computers. He was a wonderful husband, step-father, friend and humanitarian.

Surviving along with his wife and mother and Step-father Bob Lyon are two step-sons: Justin (Christy) Nine of Crawfordsville and Ryan Kunkle of Lima Ohio. His Mother-in-law Carol Stout of Waveland, two brothers; Robert (Marie) Bohrisch and Fred Brown, sister Rhonda (Dan) Frisch and Alice Borrell all of California. Brothers-in-law: Mike (Susie) Stout, Steve (Sandra) Stout, Mark (Dawn) Stout. Five Step-grandchildren: Mercedes, Taylor, Aliah, Maci and Colton Nine.

He was preceded in death by his father James L. (Pops) Brown and Father-in-law Dave Stout.

The family will greet guests Saturday, March 27, 2010 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Family & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dorman Winger officiating . Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
