Terre Haute – Lillian E. Phelps, age 100, formerly of rural Hillsboro, passed away 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Hospice of Union, Terre Haute.  She was born in Normal, Illinois daughter of the late Guy and Pearl Moore Reeder.  She married Nathan Phelps and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are: Grandchildren; Jeffrey (Janet) Mitchell of Crawfordsville, Julie (Mike) Woodward of Terre Haute, Jason (Christy) Mitchell of Hillsboro, Robbie (Lori) Barr of Waynetown, Melissa Barr Owens (Tony Mumm) of Momence, Illinois.  Great-grandchildren; Josh (Hannah) Woodward, Tyler (Tiffany) Woodward, Megan (Dylan) Jahnke, Ashlee (Todd) Effinger, Samantha (Bryt) Mitchell, Bayli Mitchell, Rylee Barr, Chelsie Owens, Dannielle (Jackson) Timmons, Davey Owens, Courtnie Yohler and Jacob Yohler. Also surviving are great-great-grandchildren Mia, Max, Paxton, Liam, Aria, Cohen, Noah and Colton.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Nathan, daughter Carol Barr and son-in-law Brian Barr.

Visitation hours are 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m Monday, May 21, 2018 with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Mark Fields leading the service at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Interment will follow in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.   Memorial contributions may be directed to American Heart Assn. or Alzheimer's Foundation.
