Lois Anne Tremaine Zickmund, age 73 of Wingate, died following a lengthy illness, 5:20 p.m. November 9, 2011 in the Mulberry Health & Retirement Community. Lois was born in Coldwater, MI on August 22, 1938 the daughter of Barner and Emma Girdham Clemens, they preceded her in death. She married Philip Zickmund in Columbus, OH on February 6, 1959, he survives.

Lois was a graduate of Columbus East High School in Columbus, Ohio. Following their marriage they resided in Rensselaer for several years, then moved to the Fort Worth, TX area for 13 years. For the following eight years they resided in New Port Richey, FL where Lois worked in customer service for Publix Supermarkets. They moved to Win gate in 2003. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, crocheting, gardening and traveling. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ.

Surviving along with her husband are three daughters: Terry Lynn Yoder of Monticello, IN, Phyllis Deanna Zickmund of Oxford and Deborah Denise Stevens (husband John) of Azel, TX . Two grandchildren: Mark and Kristina Yoder.

The family will receive guests, Monday November 14, 2011 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Family & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Family a & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate, with Pastor Gordon Nichols officiating.
