Obituary

Lola Marie (Snapp) Little, age 83, of Crawfordsville, went to be with the Lord peacefully on February 23, 2026. She was born in Morristown, TN to the late Robert Snapp and Marjorie McCammack Nicholson. She married her love, Donald Little, November 3, 1961.

Lola graduated from Belle Union High School in Belle Union, IN. She retired after a long career at California Pellett Mill, Crawfordsville.

To know Lola was to love her. She was a kind, beautiful, loving soul, who always put others first. More than anything, she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of her heart. Upon retiring, Lola enjoyed travelling and seeing the country with Don. They made many friends along the way and spent many hours at karaoke, singing and making memories with their friends.

Surviving are two daughters, Tracy (Bob) Peterman of Newbury Park, CA, and Tammy (Bryan) Graves of Crawfordsville; a son, Troy (Kim) Little of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren: Bobby and Anthony Peterman, Bryce (Abby) McCoy, Zach and Courtney McCoy, and Grace and Reagan Little; step‐grandchildren: Raven and Daniel (Mallory) Graves, and Zayn Risner; great‐grandsons Brendan Peterman and Bennett McCoy; three sisters: Earlene Gossard of Greencastle, Vicky Hunt of Cloverdale, and Rhonda Bunny of Brazil; two brothers: Ernie Nicholson of Cloverdale and Rob Nicholson of Cloverdale; and numerous members of the extended Snapp family. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Maggie Johnson, and sister Ginny Hodge.

Visitation hours are noon-2:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate, with a celebration of life service immediately following at 2:00 PM with Lay Minister, Earlene Gossard, officiating. Private family inurnment at New Richmond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project (WoundedWarriorProject.org), a cause close to Lola’s heart.

On behalf of Lola, her family would like to give special thanks to her Belle’s family for always making her feel loved, respected and important, and to all the SouthernCare Hospice staff for taking such good care of her- especially Abby and Kylee who loved her and stayed with her from the beginning.
