Newtown – Lonnie E. Musgrove age 84 of Newtown passed away unexpectedly in his home Wednesday, November 4, 2020.  He was born in Barthell, KY son of the late Jason and Bessie Stevens Musgrove.

Lonnie attended school in Kentucky.  He was a self-employed carpenter and had resided in Newtown the past 20 years.  He was a quiet, solitary person who kept to himself.  He enjoyed cutting and splitting firewood.

Lonnie is survived by; a brother-in-law Virgil Jackson of Newtown, two sons; Dean Musgrove and Roger Musgrove, a daughter Linda Whitehead all of Kentucky.  Two sisters; Shirley Davis of Kentucky and Lee Plessie of Georgia and a brother Lester Musgrove of Kentucky.  His grandchildren; Melissa Fox, Wayne Whitehead, Stacey Hatfield, Angela Whitehead, Amanda Stunk, Miranda Majors, Adam Musgrove several nieces and nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by a wife, son Lowell, two brothers and one sister.
