Lori Ann Miller Hyatt age 43, of rural Crawfordsville passed away in her home at 5:58 PM Monday, June 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She had courageously battled glioblastoma the past 18 months.  Lori was born in Rensselaer June 21, 1979 to Charlotte Minter Miller and the late James Miller.  Lori married Kevin Hyatt in Lafayette, September 11, 1997 and he survives.

Lori operated a day care in her home in Lafayette for 14 years before moving south of New Richmond in 2013.  She will be remembered by many as a bus driver for North Montgomery Schools, running the Wingate route.  She was a member of Liberty Chapel Church and active with the 'Cache' group and was involved in a 'home school' group.  Life for Lori was about her children and family as well as her faithfulness to God.

Lori grew up a 'Miss Priss' but total embraced becoming a 'country girl'.  She enjoyed home décor/decorating her home, gardening and canning.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and loved her family with a passion.

Surviving along with her husband Kevin: her 8 children; Lindsay Hyatt of Crawfordsville, Noah (wife Alex) Hyatt of Indianapolis, Garrett Hyatt, Ava Hyatt, Eliana Hyatt, Daniel Hyatt, Madeleine Hyatt and Harrison Hyatt all of Crawfordsville.  Her mother, Charlotte Minter Miller of Lafayette and brother, Ross Miller of Lafayette.  She was filled with joy expecting her first grandchild, Waylon James Hyatt in July.  Also surviving are her in-laws, Don and Barb Hyatt of Lafayette, sister-in-law Kelli (husband Jesse) Moffatt of Lafayette.  Lori was preceded in death by her father James and sister-in-law Rachel Goebert Miller.

Visitation hours are 1:00 – 4:00 PM EST Friday, June 16, 2023 at Liberty Chapel Church (3942 West  County Road 500 North Crawfordsville, 47933).  Funeral services follow at 4:00 PM at the church with Pastor Ryan Threlkeld officiating.
