Marion Lee Schidler, Sr. of Lafayette, passed away, 4:30 AM Saturday, February 20, 2021 in his daughter-in-law's home in Hillsboro.  He had been in failing health.  He was born in Lafayette June 29, 1937 to the late Harry and Maude Gray Schidler.  He was formerly married to Evelyn Clark.

Marion graduated from Delphi High School was self employed as a 'roofer' working in the Lafayette area.

He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing.  He was talented as a wood carver and was well known for being Mr. Fix-it.   Marion enjoyed spending time with his family.  Surviving are: a daughter, Pam Schidler Jacob of Florida.  Two sons; Marion L. Schidler, Jr of Hillsboro and Larry A. Schidler of Lafayette, his former wife Evelyn Clark of Lafayette and daughter-in-law Kim Lawson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenny and sister Mary Bray.
