Mark David Bishop age 60 of Wingate, passed away unexpectedly 3:34 PM Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Mark was born in Crawfordsville April 18, 1965 to the late Ray Junior Bishop and Patricia Anne Lith Bishop Oswalt who survives.

Mark was a graduate of North Montgomery High School. Following graduation he was employed as a ‘Pressman’ for R.R. Donnelley & Sons, retiring after 35 years of service, due to failing health.

He enjoyed being outdoors,,,golfing, fishing, caring for his lawn and DIY woodworking projects. He raised four step-children as his own and was a loving caring role model for them.

He is survived by his mother Patricia Anne Lith Bishop Whitaker Oswalt, of Wingate, his brother Steve (Elaine) Bishop of Westfield. His bonus family; Michelle Osburne, of Wingate, Heather Evans of Reelsville, Travis Evans of Frankfort and Jennifer Osborne of Reelsville. He was preceded in death by his father Ray and step-father Harold Oswalt.

Visitation hours are Sunday, January 18, 2026, 1:00 - 3:00 PM with funeral services following at 3:00 PM with Pastor Alan Goff officiating at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate.
