Martha Ann Morris Cowan age 76 of Crawfordsville, passed away at 3:19 PM Thursday, June 6, 2024 in her home following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Crawfordsville April 12, 1948 to the late Don and Edie Hartung Morris.  She married Steve Cowan in 2005 and he survives.

Martha was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School.  She and Steve spent many years on Martha's Vineyard where they were designers and remodelers of local homes.  They thoroughly enjoyed their time in Martha's Vineyard.  They also did remodeling work in Indiana, Illinois, Florida and New York, they were a great team.  Martha and Steve visited all 50 states and enjoyed motorcycling across the US following her 1999 retirement from Target where she was employed as a Customer Service Manager.

Martha was a great wife, enjoyed being outside, gardening, photography and being with friends.   She was very high spirited, the life of the party and considered a little eccentric, but understandably so, to 'put up' with Steve!

Surviving along with her husband Steve, are: a daughter; Amy (Peter) Bannon of Oak Bluffs, MA.  Three brothers; Phil (Skeet) Morris, Mark (Linda) Morris both of Florida and Jim (Sharon) Morris of North Carolina.  Two step-daughters; Stephanie (Carrie) Cowan and Randi (Danielle) Baker both of Crawfordsville.  Nine grandchildren; Kelsey, Sophie, Leo, Rory, Tori, Jetta, Catherine, Jaydelyn and Emrick.  A great-grandchild Keegan Rose also survives.  She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Keegan.
