Martha L. Jones age 84 of Bellevue, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly February 9, 2021 in Bellevue.  She was born in Newtown, IN November 29, 1936 daughter of the late Vernie L. and Winona Axsom Jones.

She graduated high school in Indiana and attended Bellevue Community College.  She lived in Nebraska from 1961-1973.  Then worked for the US Government in Civil Service in Germany for a year, returning to Bellevue in 1974. She retired after 35 years in Civil Service, then worked for UPS 5 years and was also a private accountant.  She was very active in the church and volunteered her services for church members and friends

Survived by daughter Clarisa Fernandes (Craig); grandchildren: Heather Falkner, Daniell Cromwell, Tricia Esannason (Erik), Micheal Boughton (Rachel), and John Boughton (Arlynne); great grandchildren: Lane Meinders, Paisha  & Paige Falkner, Connor Esannason, Ewen, Rebakah, Emily, Benjamin & Charlotte Boughton.

Graveside services will be held in Newtown Cemetery, 11:00 AM, Thursday February 25, 2021 with the Bishop from Church of Latter Day Saints, Crawfordsville, officiating.  Family and Friends Home of Wingate is assisting the family with local arrangements.  Visit us at www.familyandfriendsfh.com to sign the guest book or share a condolence.
