Waynetown – Naomi Jane Butler Clore, age 91, of rural Waynetown passed away at 1:15 AM, Wednesday, January 30, 2018 in Franciscan St. E. East Hospital, Lafayette.  She was born in Lebanon, IN January 25, 1928, daughter of the late Ray and Cora Belle Honan Butler.  She was married to Donald Clore with whom she had children and also previously married to Earl Bennett, both preceding her in death.

Her family moved to the farm in Fountain County in 1942 from Lebanon, where she remained since 1942.  She graduated from Wallace High School with the class of 1946 and the Lake View Nursing School in Danville, IL. She enjoyed working as a Medical Lab Tech into her 80s.  Jane was employed by the former Culver Hospital and Franciscan St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been active in the Eastern Star and a member of the Alamo Christian Church.  She loved time with her family, her dogs and horses.

Surviving are: two children, daughter; Becky Whitford of Wayntown and son; Jeff (Tammy) Clore of Waynetown.  Grandchildren; Doug (Jennifer) Whitford of Marshall, Joseph (Bobbi) Clore of Crawfordsville and  Kenny (April) Clore of Hillsboro.  Ten great-grandchildren also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a brother Jack Butler.

Visitation hours are 10:00 AM – Noon, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate, with funeral services beginning at Noon with Pastor Kevin Howey officiating.  Burial will follow in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alamo Christian Church.  Visit us at www.familyandfriendsfh.com to share a memory or leave a condolence
