Romney – Nellie Mae Myers Hall age 92, died at 4:36 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 in The Springs of Lafayette. She had been in failing health the past several years. She was born in rural Fountain County, September 7, 1923 daughter of the late Carol and Sybil Atkinson Myers. She married Charles Hall, June 24, 1944 and he preceded her in death in July 2010.

Nellie was a graduate of Alamo High School and Lakeview School of Nursing in 1944. She was a Registered Nurse and kept her degree active for over 50 years. She and her husband operated a farm south of Waynetown. In 1974 they moved to Parke County and lived on Raccoon Lake. She enjoyed the activities of living on the lake, especially boating. Nellie felt privileged she could stay at home to raise her children and help around the farm. She was an avid flower gardener and traveled extensively throughout the United States with her husband.
