Patsy E. Galloway, age 82, of Crawfordsville, passed away in The Lane House at 8:07 AM Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born in Crawfordsville November 27, 1942, daughter of the late Thomas 'Elmer' and Avanelle Rodgers McGinnis.  She married Charles R. Galloway in Parkersburg on July 25, 1981 and he preceded her in death in 1999.

Patsy was raised on a farm near Newtown and attended Richland Township School until age 10 when her family moved to Waveland, where she attended New Market and Waveland Schools.  Patsy will be remembered by many for the years she was a waitress at Lowe's Café and the Tastee Freeze both in Crawfordsville.  She retired from Atapco/Crawford Industries after many years of employment.

Patsy was a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church and most recently attending the Yountsville Christian Church and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.  She enjoyed traveling and for years was a member of the Primetimers Travel Club. She also enjoyed shopping, collecting bears, keychains and magnets. Though her co-workers at Atapco nicknamed her 'Wild Thing', which she loved, she was a very, gentle, kind, loving Christian woman.

Surviving are: step-son Wade (Myra) Galloway of Crawfordsville, two grand-sons; Lucas Galloway and Jordan (Jackie) Galloway both of Crawfordsville.  Two sisters; Nancy Myers of Crawfordsville and Bonnie (Gary) Dickson of New Market and sister-in-law Dorothy McGinnis of Crawfordsville.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, brother Tom McGinnis and sister-in-law Judy McGinnis.

Visitation hours are Saturday, October 11, 2025, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with funeral services following at 1:00 PM with Pastor Duane Abston officiating, at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate.
