Newtown - Presten Franklin Brown died, at 5:02 p.m. August 31, 2008, 18 days following his birth in the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, Indianapolis. He had suffered with a heart condition since birth. He was the son of Tabitha Brown and Jason Wheadon both of Newtown.

Surviving along with his parents are Grandparents: Virgil & Chryl Hammond of Newtown, Terry & Diana Wheadon of Marion. Great Grandparents Preston Wheadon of Fairmount, Olen Ratliff of Kentucky, Shirley Rose of Marion. Great-great-grandfather Richard Hoffman of California. An Uncle David Brown-Hammond and Aunt Aliza Wheadon.

Funeral services will be held at Family & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate, Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Duane Mycroft officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wingate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, envelopes available a the funeral home.
