Robert Arnold Davis, Jr. age 40, died unexpectedly in his home, August 5, 2016. He was born, November 25, 1975 at Home Hospital in Lafayette and lived in the Attica/West Point area most of his life, except for 15 years in the greater Tampa Bay, Florida area.

He was an amazing uncle, brother, son, nephew, grandson and friend. While he had disagreements with people, he was always willing to give a person a second or third chance.

He went to school at West Point, Mintonye, Southwestern, McCutcheon in Indiana and Chamberlain and King High School in Tampa, FL. He worked as an irrigation tech at Bennett's Greenhouse in Lafayette and several firms in Florida, including Nanek's. He also worked at Village Pantry on Main St. in Lafayette, Super Test and Home City Ice, both in Attica. Most of his time in Indiana, he survived by collecting scrap metal and doing odd jobs in the West Point and Attica area.

He was the son of the late Robert Arnold Davis and Marla Kay Hanselman Borders. Paternal biological grandson of the late Freeman F. and Verna Penrose Davis, maternal grandson of the late Russell F. Hanselman and Mildred Louise Poisel Hanselman. He follows his father, 2 grandfathers, 1 grandmother and 1 step-grandfather to God's care.

He is survived by a niece, four nephews, two brothers, his mother, step-father, two grandmothers, aunts, great-aunts, many many cousins and a God-daughter in Florida. While he wasn't blood to his step-father's family, he was accepted and welcomed by the entire family and felt like he was one of them.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. (9700 North State Road 55, Wingate).
