Crawfordsville – Robert E. 'Bob' Willhite, age 55 of Crawfordsville, died 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in his home. He had been battling cancer the past few years. He was born in Crawfordsville, July 28, 1960, son of the late Richard M. and Judith Ann Cronan Willhite. He was first married to Becky Harkrider, they divorced, he later married Peggy Bullock, who preceded him in death.

Bob was a graduate of North Montgomery High School and a life resident of Montgomery County. He had been employed by Crawford Industry for nearly 30 years as a production supervisor until his health failed. Bob loved the Indianapolis Colts, golfing and basketball. He had a very quiet easy going manner, was very kind hearted and giving.

Surviving are: his sister, Sherry (Leon) Smith of Crawfordsville. Nieces and nephews, Craig and Tonya Willhite, Wesley Anderson, Heather Robinson and Holly Frier. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Ricky, grandparents; grandmother Ann Little; sister, Ann Miller; a brother, Richard 'Gopher' Willhite; niece, Kristi Humphrey; nephew Michael Smith.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Pastor Alan Sparks officiating. Visitation hours are, Saturday 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery North, Crawfordsville. Memorial contribution to Montgomery County Animal Welfare.
