Crawfordsville – Sherry Lynn Willhite Smith, age 57, passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 7:00 AM in her home.  She had battled cancer the past year.  She was born in Crawfordsville, July 22, 1962 daughter of the late Richard M. and Judith A. Cronin Willhite.  She married Leon Smith on April 11, 1985 in Crawfordsville and he survives.

Sherry attended North Montgomery Schools and was a homemaker.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo.  She was a kind and gentle soul.

Sherry is survived by her husband Leon, a son Wesley (Jaclyn) Anderson of Crawfordsville and nine grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a  daughter Kristi, son Michael, Grandmother Anna Little, two brothers; Richard and Bobby Whillite, nephew Ricky and niece Holly.

Sherry will be laid to rest privately, in the family plot in Whillhite Cemetery, near Wingate.  Condolences can be made at www.familyandfriendsfh.com
