Sidney Wayne 'Tom' Floyd Sr. of Oxford, passed away January 15, 2024 at home after a long battle with many illnesses. He was 74. Tom as he was known, was born in Angola, Louisiana to the late Robert Floyd and Areowanna Carter on January 14, 1950.

Tom moved from Louisiana in 1998 to Oxford Indiana. He worked as a semi-truck driver before retiring and began working for a farmer in 2003. Tom married Billie Lois Floyd on April 21, 2005. For many years he enjoyed gardening and tending to his vegetables.

Tom is survived by his wife; daughters Sonia (Ramond) Floyd Kerry of Flatwood, Louisiana, Damica (Chris) Floyd Neal of Flatwood, Louisiana, and Carrie Shawver of Texas; son Sidney (Adina) Wayne Floyde Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren Bralynn Kerry, Shamica (Justin) Tittle, Angelina Neal, Liam Shawver, and Weston Shawver; and great- granddaughter Ollyanna Tittle. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate is assisting the family. No public services have been chosen for Tom.
