Stephanie Lynn Pellegrino Hooker Rogers age 48, of Shelburn, passed away unexpectedly in her home, Sunday morning, May 24, 2026.

Stephanie was born on September 17, 1977 in Rensselaer. She was the daughter of James Pellegrino Sr. and Terri (Clark) Pellegrino. Stephanie was a 1997 graduate of Rensselaer High School. She married Michael Hooker August 23, 2008 and he preceded her in death on November 26, 2018. Stephanie married Thomas Rogers on July 3, 2021 in Fowler Park and he survives.

Stephanie had worked as an inventory control manager at Raybestos since 2003. She enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies. Stephanie had a quiet, easy-going nature. She was known as a selfless, beautiful, caring woman of strong character.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Tom Rogers of Shelburn, IN; 2 daughters, Summer Lynn Pellegrino of Sullivan, IN and Maddie Lynn (Brooks) Gatrell of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, McKinley, Oakleigh, and Maggie; father, James (Debbie) Pellegrino Sr. of DeMotte, IN, mother, Terri Pellegrino of Shelburn, IN, 2 brothers, Brandon Pellegrino of Georgia and James Pellegrino Jr. of Remington, IN; and grandmother, Jean Carpenter-Parsons of Shelburn, IN.

Also surviving are step-children, Thomas Rogers, Kayla Foley, and Katlyn Baldwin and step-children from her previous marriage, Kyle Hooker and Tate Hooker.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hooker; brother, Anthony Pellegrino; and step-son, Seth Hooker.
