Crawfordsville – Roye 'Sue' Kelly Voliva, age 75, died in her home following a lengthy illness, 5:58 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017. She was born in Montgomery County on January 13, 1942, daughter of the late Roy Edward and Thelma Choltilde Kelly. She married Daniel Lee Voliva on June 5, 1960 and he preceded her in death March 14, 1995.

Sue graduated from Linden High School with the class of 1960. She had been employed as a cook for North Montgomery High School, retiring in 2005. She then went to work for Swadley Drug Store in Attica for eight years.

She was raised in Linden and was a former member of the Linden United Methodist Church. Sue and her husband had enjoyed their Corvette and were members of the Star City Corvette Club. She was a great cook and enjoyed crocheting. Her greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed her kids and grandchildren sporting and school events, seldom missing any activities.

Surviving are her two children: son: Scott (Jacquie) Voliva of Crawfordsville and daughter: Sally Voliva St. Leger of Chesapeake, VA, three grandchildren: Jill (Jason) Luke of Indianapolis, Josh Voliva of Crawfordsville and Zaven St. Leger of Chesapeake, VA, three great-grandchildren, a sister Linda Durnil of Milford, OH and a special friend Terry Freeman of Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
