Thomas Dean Timmons, 72, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018, at his home in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Tom was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on February 13, 1946 to Clifford Timmons and Arlos (Kroft, Timmons) Epler.  On October 7 ^th , 1989, he married Shannon Potts and she survives. They had one child together, Montana Timmons.

Tom attended Rensselaer schools until he left to defend his country in the United States Navy in 1963.

Tom resided in West Lafayette for over 30 years. He owned and operated S & T Heating and Cooling for 20 years.  After retiring he enjoyed helping out with customers at Dependable Rubber Company.

Tom  or "Tommy T"  was a charismatic person that could make anyone laugh. He had a wonderful, witty sense of humor like no other. Tom enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family, friends and his childhood friend, Jerry Williams.

Tom is survived by his Mother, Arlos Epler; Daughter, Tara J. (Travis) Horvath; Son, Montana Timmons; Sister, Lana Anderson, Grandsons, Hunter (Tori) Horvath and Parker Horvath; Great Granddaughters, Braelyn and Kylah and many Niece and Nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his Father, Clifford Timmons; Sister, Ruth (Timmons) Strain;  1 ^st Wife, Cindy J. (Erb) Timmons; Mother in Law, Lee Potts; Brother in Law, Charles Anderson; Nephew, Andrew Anderson

The family is planning a Celebration of Life that will be held in the spring to honor Tom.  The time and location will be announced at that time.
