Vicki Paddack Rosen, age 66 of Crawfordsville passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family, 11:20 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020. She had been fighting Glioblastoma. She was born in Crawfordsville, April 6, 1953 to Barton Paddack and the late Wilma Moore Paddack. She was formerly married to Chuck Rosen.
Vicki graduated from Crawfordsville High School with the class of 1971. She returned to Crawfordsville in 2018 after spending 15 years in Camby, where she was the Registrar at Camp Camby Conference and Retreat Center. Previously she was employed with Crawford Industries, and she and Chuck had operated Rosen Trucking & Repair 1993-2003. Earlier she was employed by the Crawfordsville Mayor's office.
Vicki was a member of the First Christian Church of Crawfordsville. She was a devoted loving mother and grandmother who rarely missed one of their school, sports or 'quad race' activities. She enjoyed decorating, gardening, tending her flowers and birds.
Surviving are: her father; Barton Paddack of Crawfordsville, two sons; Chad (Kelly) Rosen of Crawfordsville and Chris (Jamie) Rosen of Waynetown. Five grandchildren; Kyleigh Franklin, Austin, Carter, Connor and Ruby Rosen. Her brother; Brad (Peg) Paddack of Linsburg, 'special niece' Erica Menke and her daughter Meghan, 'special aunt' Edna Krukewitt of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Wilma.
Visitation hours, 5:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Funeral services at the funeral home, 10:00 AM Thursday, January 30, with Pastors Darla Goodrich and Mike Whitacre officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Glioblastoma Reasearch, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
